Introducing the FlexiCube Custom Shelf—a fully customizable shelving solution designed in OpenSCAD. This design started as a simple replacement for a broken MDF shelf in my son's room and has evolved into a versatile tool for home organization or decorative purposes. You can customize your cube's dimensions, thickness, and top edge chamfers, and choose from options like rounded corners, an optional back, and various mounting alternatives including hidden screws, exposed screws, or adhesive for a seamless setup. Additionally, you can add hooks underneath the shelf for extra hanging storage, enhancing functionality as needed.

 

The FlexiCube Custom Shelf is designed to adapt perfectly to your space and style, requiring no paint, supports, or glue. Its modular nature doesn't stop at shelving—feel free to transform it into a simple hanger, a box, or a pencil holder. The possibilities are vast, so let your creativity run wild with this flexible and practical design solution.

 

Important Note

The gray cube shelf shown in the photos measures 240x240mm. However, the default print profile provided is for a 200x200mm model. For larger prints like the 240x240mm version, specific adjustments are required due to printer volume limitations. Please refer to this detailed guide for making necessary adjustments:

Printing Instructions

Use your standard 0.2mm printing settings. For hooks, adjust the "Minimum Sparse Infill Threshold" to 35mm² to make them solid and strong.
