PixelCase ~ iPhone 15 pro case

This phone case is designed for you to create your own pixel art designs on the back of your phone's case. This design also has really super clicky buttons even for the action button, which other cases don't have. There's also a version of this print that supports magsafe with a cutout for an additional magnet ring.
This design profile page includes 2 options:
- No magsafe design: simpler to print but won't support magsafe accessories. Pixels are thicker and easier to handle.
- Magsafe design: a few extra steps to print and assemble but supports magsafe accessories.

The print is split in 4 parts:
- phone case
- camera bump protector: this is split from the case so that its easier to print both on flat surfaces without support for a smooth finish.
- buttons (volume x2, action button and power button)
- pixels: these can be print in any color to create your pixel art.
- (optional 1): pixel fillers if you're printing the magasafe version.
- (optional 2): a protective TPU sheet that goes between your phone and the pixels to protect the phone even more.
How to print:
- TPU 95: a strong flexible filament is required for the case
- Camera bump guard can be print in TPU or PLA.
- Buttons also printable on PLA or TPU.
- Some supports on the case. Mainly the buttons andthe speaker grill and charge port. Minimal tree supports recommended.
- Raft needed for the pixels to improve bed adhesion
- Protective sheet needs to be printed on TPU.
- Added 1 pixels type which has a -0.2 tolerance on the bigger side (that fits in the case). This one with a little tolerance works better for me.
- I recommend 15% infill for the case.

Assembly:
- insert the camera bump guard first in the right direction
- insert pixels with the desired pattern
- (optional) lay over a protective sheet of TPU (STL/3MF also uploaded) over the pixels on the inner side of the case to add extra protection to your phone.
- Insert the buttons on each of the sides.
- for the magsafe cutout to work you will need a strong extra ring magnet that you also need to add before the phone. Or slap it in the phone and it should settle in the cutout nicely. You will also need to print pixel stoppers of which there's 2 options:
- individual stoppers. These are 1mm thick stoppers for each pixel outside the magsafe cutout.
- grouped stoppers. There's 2 of these one for inside the magsafe ring and one for the outside.
- finally insert your phone!
Comments about magsafe:
You can also print the “no magsafe option” and avoid thinking about this next section altogether.
The magsafe print profile and files use different pixels. These pixels are thinner (1mm in thickness). This is so that the additional magsafe magnetic ring which is usually around 0.4mm to 1mm thick can sit in between the pixels and the phone. Its also so that the magnets attach firmly to other accessories.

In order to prevent the pixels from falling back into that 1mm gap in places where there isn't an extra magnetic ring. You also need to print 1mm pixel stoppers that fill that gap here illustrated in grey:

- 2023/11/03 - Added a longer overhang on the face of the phone for tighter grip and speaker grill holes
- 2023/11/05 - Added extra padding on buttons and a fillet on the overhang around the phone to reduce stringing
- 2023/11/08 - More tolerance around action buttons and deeper button trenches around the button
- 2023/11/10 - pulled back 1mm off the top boarder and smoothened it out so that it doesn't interfere with the screen gestures off the sides.
- 2023/11/11 - added chamfers to the edges of the case to make the print bulging proof and a better design altogether. Also added a channel to add an extra magsafe ring you can get on amazon or aliexpress with an inner diameter of 43mm and outer diameter of 48mm max.
- 2023/11/15: improved placing of camera bump cutout and a fillet that makes the camera bump flush with the phone.
- 2023/11/18: Improved buttons by making them separate from the case. This makes them more clickable, customizable and easier to print.
- 2023/11/27: added a new slimmer design for the magsafe option with new pixels and case design.
- 2023/12/04: added a new method of pixel stoppers that is much easier to use. All pixel stoppers are printed in a 0.2 mm sheet.
