For the Openscad competition I took an old and never published design back from 2019. A customizable birdhouse.
Another bird, another birdhouse (at least according to the bird association). With this model you can design a birdhouse for specific birds according to the guidelines often to be found on the webpage of your national bird association. The one showed here is designed especially for the great-tit. But no one asked the birds themselves here, they investigate it but prefer to breed in the old outdoor ashtrays as long as I know :). Nevertheless, it is a great model that will last many bird nests.

Customizing:

You can customize the dimensions the roof angle, position and dimensions of the entrance, mounting and holes. Besides that you can add a lot of cosmetic things like a chimney, planked roof or casco*, woodworking look (panels and nails-look), entrance stick**.
There are a lot of parameters, play with them to create your ideal birdhouse.

Putting it together:

The roof can be mounted to the casco with one or two screws  just under the roof-ridge. 

Mounting holes for the birdhouse are possible at the back or bottom.
 

Material:
PLA works for me, it hangs outside now for years with no signs of wear.
