Description

An end cap/plug for the end of an M12 Field Wireable Connector to allow it to be hung from a keychain.

I'm making a bunch of bypass jumper plugs that don't need a cable/wires coming out the end, and I wanted to be able to hang it off a keychain easily. I'm using Balluff BCC06YA M12 Field Wireable Connectors in this case, but this is a very common M12 field wireable that is sold by a variety of manufacturers under different part numbers.

Update 1: Had some strength issues with the keyring hole printed in the upright configuration, so figured out that I could cut the model in half and print the two halves laying down for better strength through the keyhole. It's the 2nd plate in the print profile. You might end up with a visible seam/gap between the two halves after it's screwed into the back of the field wireable, but I think it's a worthy tradeoff for a significantly stronger keyring hole.
