This is only compatible with Python for the original AMS. Please view my other designs for designs supporting other AMS systems, there are plenty.

 

About

 

This is a set of front mounted Silica Gel Boxes for the Python to keep the moisture in the enclosure at a minimum. They slide into the front dovetails of Python.

 

A “normal” Python setup with four spools use three Silica Gel Boxes.

 

Notice: It is not compatible with a stock AMS setup.

 

The pictures below are from an earlier version of the boxes but they're basically the same except the lid and locking mechanism with a printed M14 screw.

One box can hold around 110 g of undried silica gel. It's a good idea to use the optional funnel when filling it.

A set of three filled to the brim with undried silica gel is around 430 g.

All parts print without supports and it uses a sliding lid. The funnel is optional but makes loading much easier.

For the Hygrometer box you also need a small round hygrometer (mini) with a 41 mm diameter which you can pick up from AliExpress for example. I bought a bunch since they're so cheap:

I highly recommend these Nano Coated Helical Extruder Gears from FYSETC, I use them for all my Bambu printers, they're inexpensive and offer a number of improvements of the stock gears:
