I designed this wand with a channel to insert a 1/8" or a 2.98mm drill rod cut to length. The model has a small registration mark what fits a small piece of 1.78mm filament. (Help line everything up while the glue sets). I had a really… I mean REALLY hard time trying to print the available Sirius Black Wand so I made this one which I can actually print! Im fairly new at this printing and Im sure the others are great, just beyond my skills lol.

With the piece of drill rod it makes the wand very strong, adds a little weight giving it a really nice feel when swish and flicking!!

This one I printed out of yellow PETG then sanded it smooth and gave it a coat of flat Sirius black spray paint/ I then did a few coats of matin clear and wet sanded it down to a collectors piece to show off! People that have picked it up immediately comment on how nice the hand feel is and that it feels powerful!

The Drill Rod is 13 inches long. (Drill Rod is really easy to get and is super cheap) I found mine at a local bolt supply house. I cut it easily with a hacksaw.

For the glue I used a two part epoxy and brushed it all over the rod before I inserted it into the first half. Same with the second half. There will be extra glue that will hold both sides together. Just wipe off the extra epoxy with a dry paper towel.

P.S I have Ginny Wesley's wand done this same way and it is by far my Favoritest wand EVER!!!! I really like this one because I finally printed a version that is amazing
