Cool looking pencil case with fidget gear to play with.
For this model you will need:
- (12) m3 x 8 mm screw
- (1) m5 x 12 mm screw (can be up to 20 mm max)
- (2) 14mm x 6 mm magnet
- For the clear plastic top i've use a cheap plastic container at the dollar store and cut it to shape with an knife and a drill to make the holes. (make sure that the plastic top is at least 1 mm thick.
Assembly:
- Drill one hole in the plastic container and screw one m3 x 8 mm (repeat this for every screw to make it easier to drill in the right spot.)
- Once all the screws are install in the holes you can turn the top upside down and start cut with a sharp knife making sure to follow the edge of the pencil case. (make the cut in more than one pass.)
- Take it all off and start placing the gears. (Don't place the two main silver gear yet.)
- Place the top of the pencil case on the case and screw the m5 x 12 mm in place.
- Put the clear plastic top inside the side/top cover.
- Place the two main silver gear in the hole of the side/top cover and install it on top the other gear assembly (top of the pencil case)
- Screw all the m3 x 8 mm back in place.
- Add the 2 magnets (one in the top and one in the case itself)
