I designed an airtight filament storage to store multiple spules of filament in an optimal way.

The model fits perfectly inside an ikea samla 22l box and uses simple hardware to go with it.

Requirements

• Ikea samla 22l with lid
• Ikea samla clip from Generics: https://makerworld.com/en/models/89815#profileId-352690 (3D Print)
• Simple plastic tube with 16mm diameter

Optional

• Hygrometer
• Hygrometer Stand: https://makerworld.com/en/models/511034#profileId-427111 (3D Print)
• Silica bag
• Sealing tape

At first, the parts have to be printed. In the meantime, you can already shorten the pipe with a diameter of 16mm to the appropriate size (33cm x 2). As soon as the parts are printed, you can assemble the filament storage as shown in the pictures.

You can also integrate a hygrometer with a corresponding stand (https://makerworld.com/en/models/511034#profileId-427111). You can also seal the box with sealing tape between the box and lid as shown in the picture and insert a silica bag for optimal storage.
