Description

Designed specifically for Bambu Lab X1 and P1 printers to use very little filament, print quickly, fit well, and not require fiddling to remove. It features a chamfered edge on the interface side to ensure centering and print tolerance adherence. The fit is near perfect with my print profile on an X1C. This design not only simplifies installation but also maintains the alignment and functionality of the bearing assembly. You can choose from 0.5 mm or 1.0 mm shell thickness.

 

Keeping debris out of bearing races is crucial for the longevity and performance of bearings. Debris can cause abrasion, increase friction, and lead to premature wear and failure. By preventing contaminants from entering the bearing races, the bearing cover ensures smooth operation, reduces maintenance needs, and extends the overall lifespan of the printer's moving components. Yes, the bearings are sealed, but sealed bearings are not impervious and these covers are less than a gram in print material each.
