I'm too cheap to buy Tesla's homelink package to open my garage. Instead, simply printed this “slightly over engineered” garage opener mount, double sided tape it below the head unit, everything is golden. I can save a couple hundreds dollar for more 3d printing supplies!

This model fits perfectly in between the monitor and wirless charging pad (see picture). The opening allows access to both buttons if you have two button opener. A hole is added to one side to allow easy removal of the garage opener, which can be very important if you need to send your car to service but keep the opener.

The model prints fine without support – there is a little bit overhang to one side of the opening, but my x1c handles it pretty well.
