Description

Summary

Part 2/2 for the British/Soviet tanks.

During the Second World War, Great Britain was seriously considering domestically producing the Soviet T-34 and KV-1 tanks. Ultimately, this idea fell through due to the modifications needed to bring these tanks to British standards and the increasing ability to produce their own tanks or acquire already up to standard Shermans.

In this model, I intend to share what I think a T-34 would have relatively looked like if built by British standards. There was only 2 actual changes major I made to the original model. For one, I thinned down the treads by a lot to fit the British railway transportation standards they had. The other change was implementing the QF 17 pounder gun that the British intended to replace the T-34's original gun with.

This was a simple yet fun 1-100 model to put together and I hope it can be put to good use. If you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns, please put them i the comments and I will do my best to respond. Thank you!
