Description

Requires non-3D printed parts.
I didn't select the box below, as it wouldn't allow me to submit with it selected.

3D printed rocket I made for school in 2023.

The rocket was required to take off, and deploy a parachute to slow down descent after burning.

Specifications of model:

  • Height with nosecone: 6 inches
  • Approximate weight: 53 grams
  • Drawing of the rocket can be found in the PDF

Requires:

  • C6-5 rocket engine
  • Paperclip
  • Something to 3D print the model
  • Possibly sandpaper
  • Doesn't really require, but was made with the design intent. Parachute. Make one if you don't have it, idk.
  • Launch station

Step up:

  1. Sand down the nose of the rocket to fit in the fuselage.
  2. Place C6-5 engine in the fuselage. The fit will be extremely tight.
  3. Run a paperclip through the loose holes, being the end to secure it in place. Clip sides to remove excess.
  4. If parachute is to be added, tie string of parachute to rod in the nosecone of rocket.
  5. Close the nose on the fuselage, and check if secured.
  6. Once secured, rocket is able to be launched. I have no clue how to launch it. I forgot, as this was made so long ago.

Enjoy the rocket I guess.
