Requires non-3D printed parts.
I didn't select the box below, as it wouldn't allow me to submit with it selected.
3D printed rocket I made for school in 2023.
The rocket was required to take off, and deploy a parachute to slow down descent after burning.
Specifications of model:
- Height with nosecone: 6 inches
- Approximate weight: 53 grams
- Drawing of the rocket can be found in the PDF
Requires:
- C6-5 rocket engine
- Paperclip
- Something to 3D print the model
- Possibly sandpaper
- Doesn't really require, but was made with the design intent. Parachute. Make one if you don't have it, idk.
- Launch station
Step up:
- Sand down the nose of the rocket to fit in the fuselage.
- Place C6-5 engine in the fuselage. The fit will be extremely tight.
- Run a paperclip through the loose holes, being the end to secure it in place. Clip sides to remove excess.
- If parachute is to be added, tie string of parachute to rod in the nosecone of rocket.
- Close the nose on the fuselage, and check if secured.
- Once secured, rocket is able to be launched. I have no clue how to launch it. I forgot, as this was made so long ago.
Enjoy the rocket I guess.
