Description

Description:

I played around with the Bambu Studio to test its limits with simple geometric shapes modelling: all the model has been made using only the positive and negative geometric parts available in the Bambu Studio software(just wish they added more shapes; it would have made my job way easier).

I developed the model to be used both as a lamp or as a simple ornament; feel free to use it as you wish.

Printing instructions:

The model needs a bit of support, mainly for the top and bottom of the circle shape; I used Auto Tree Support allowing it to start from the model too or it wouldn't be able to reach and support the bottom of the circle.

The filling is made with 8% of Gyroid; it doesn't require much filling.

No brim needed, but I suggest the use of some glue to make sure that the model remain attached to the PEI plate during all the printing process and no warping shows up.

Assembly instructions:

On one side of the triangle I made a little hole to allow the insertion of a cable for the led stripe that can be glued to the inside of the model; I left a slit on the inside of the triangle to allow the passage of a led stripe of 1cm width(I left about 2mm extra space); about 75cm of led stripe should be enough to cover all the inside area of the triangle. Setting the led stripe may be a little tricky; I suggest using some tool, like a stick or a pen, to push the strips inside the corners to make sure it adhere properly.

Post processing:

Just remove the support carefully. The one at the bottom may require a bit of work, but should still came out easily without needs to use too much strenght.
