Description

I have an old food dehydrator that hasn't been used in a while, so I figure why not try it out with filament. I wanted to see how well it worked so I used flexible cardboard from a 12 pack and made a wall. It actually works well, and I could fit two rolls under it. I wanted something that didn't look as bad. I found the design for a 15" and decided to give it a try. Only problem is I have a mini and the print was for the bigger printers. The original had 4 sections, so I cut them in half and had to print 8. It came out looking great. I have an Open Country dehydrator. The original model was a different brand but looks similar in function, so it's probably created by the same company. It's not ideal for filament because it's too wide. If it was 1" wider, it could maybe fit two spools side by side, but it can't.

I used dried PETG for the print and glue stick. The first two sections I printed without glue stick, but the humidity is pretty serious right now. The glue stick prints came out perfect. I could have printed 4-6 sections on the mini at a time, but I don't like the risk.
