Description

I change the nozzle often so I liked the idea of easy access but without adding extra weight to the axle. The original cover weighs 6.8g, my honeycomb 6g and the full version 6.7g. I also made a version without the honeycomb pattern.

EDIT 26.26.2024
Based on feedback about hotend clogging concerns I did a combo pattern where the bottom is solid to create a wind tunnel to cool the passive part of the hotend and the top has a honeycomb pattern.

Hello, I'm sorry that the printing did not go as you imagined. Did you use a 3MF file or did you download the STL and prepare the model for printing in Bambu Studio or Orca Slicer yourself? Or let me ask another question, did you make any adjustments before printing? I exported the print file with the settings that were suitable for this model, due to the "print in place" assembly. Alternatively, message me and we can go over it. I'm sorry I'm only responding now.

Are there any hotend cooling problems? It looks like there may be an airflow problem

I haven't had any problems so far. But a version with a full pattern is created where the air tunnel is better.

thank you! I think it would be a good idea to add a model where only the bottom part is blocked and the top part has a honeycomb structure.

this was shamefully copied from this original design: https://makerworld.com/en/models/435671#profileId-341496

No it wasn't and anyone with 50% eyesight could see that there is a million differences between the two besides the general shape. Stop, your post on BBL FB was cringe and this is even more cringe.
