Description

These are fully customizable place cards for official ceremonies, like weddings, etc.

The model includes

  • a hinged leg with which you can put it at an angle on tables.
  • At the end of the hinge is a hole, so the name tag doubles as a keyring pendant.
  • You can create many names in one go! (see below)
  • All tiny things (like accents or the dot on the i are connected automatically!)

Customization

Customize the names with the Makerworld Customizer above or with OpenSCAD (install OpenSCAD on your own computer and follow the customizing instructions on this thing page.)

Note that you can give a list of names, and they will all be done in a single STL file, so it is easy to print many names in one go!

    textstr="Mads Mikkelsen/Joel Kinnaman/Álvaro Morte";

gives all three name plates in a single STL / 3MF file for easy mass-production!

Hello, why do the bottoms of the letters q and g come out like this? I've tried various printing speeds, and it still happens

Its so the letters "stand": try to use it as a "place card": If the letters would not be cut off, the place card would not be straight but slanted. Should i make an option to disable that?
