Description

DeWalt DWE7491 Table Saw Miter Bars

I was looking for some miter bars to print for my table saw, but the ones I tried either had too much slop or were too tight. I designed these so that the thickness brings it exactly flush with the tabletop while still allowing for some vertical play in the T slot to compensate for any compression that may occur from screwing them down. The front is shaped to allow for effortless insertion into the miter slot, and the rear has a cutout to pair with the front so you can daisy chain multiple together to create a track of your desired length. The screw holes are countersunk on the bottom for flathead screws with an 82 degree taper which is the most common angle used. When tightened the screw head sits flush with the surface.

Profile includes three plates. One plate with four bars for each of the screw sizes #10, #8, and #6. Delete what you don't want or clone more as needed.

Printed great with PETG on my factory calibrated P1S. Have not yet tried PLA or any other material. This is the first thing I have ever designed so please let me know if you have any suggestions for improvements.
