Description
I love Van Gogh's Starry Night and wanted to find another reason to use it, so I decided to work with the piece to make a Double and Single Light Switch Cover.
I altered the art image in order to get the tree image and the moon to fit.
The sizes are about the size of mid sized light switch covers.
The back and front are printed separately and need to be glued together. I like to use clear Gorilla glue. I like to glue it, let it dry, use a deburring tool to clean all the edges up, and then a torch to clean up where I did the deburring. Helps bring the color back when it gets a white tinge to it.
Color Changes:
- Layers 1 - 23 : Black
- Layers 24 : Earth Brown (Polymaker PolyTerra Matte)
- Layers 25 : Navy Blue (Polymaker PolyTerra)
- Layers 26 - 27 : Blue (Inland Egyptian Blue)
- Layers 28 - 29 : Light Blue (Inland)
- Layers 30 - 32 : Savannah Yellow (Polymaker Matte)
- Layers 33 - top : White
