IMPORTANT: When downloading, please use "Open in Bambu Studio" or "Download 3MF" to keep things simple. If you download the STL, you'll have to setup the modifier yourself.
This is a fan cover for Bambu Lab A1 series 3D printers. It guards the hot end fan, prevents large objects from getting caught. I wanted to make a cover that doesn't affect the performance/noise level, but didn't know how thick/dense to make the grille fins. So, I figured why not just use infill as grille, that way it's easily adjustable. If you have a 0.2mm nozzle you could make them super thin :)
To customize it, you'll have to change some settings in the slicer, check the screenshot below for reference.
Essentially, you just need to change the infill density and pattern of the modifier.
Go to “Preview” tab > Process (Objects) > Select one of the objects > Click “modifier” > “Strength” tab. There you'll see “Sparse infill density” and “Sparse infill pattern”, change and slice it until you're satisfied.
Please let me know if there's anything wrong with the files.
Would really appreciate it if you could give me a boost. I'm new to MakerWorld, and just got my first Bambu Lab printer, the A1 Mini :)
