Features:
- uses standart 4mm Bowden PTFE tube (~19mm)
→ insert the tube into the longer part of the assembly
→ use the gap in between the two sections
→ note the ptfe tube may be a bit loose which does not harm the funcion
(use some superglue if you want) - no screws required
Usage:
- insert a filament end on both sides (Like in the Picture top left)
- heat both ends with a (Clean) soldering iron (in the Gap)
- Pull the end on the PTFE side into the PTFE tube
- immeadiately push the other end firmly into the PTFE tube while securing the both ends
- wait ~10s
- thanks to the PTFE tube the splice should fit into your printer. You can use a blade to make it thinner if you need to
- you are done!
do this at your own risk. Be careful you could be burned by the soldering iron. Never heat the PTFE tube above its rated temperature.
