A new addition to my star wars desk lamp collection.. the Sith Infiltrator..
The infiltrator was design using tinkercad and use the Bambu white LED strip ← affiliate link.. you could get 2 rows of the LED strip to get the lamp to be brigher..
I used a working lamp similar to IKEA FORSA desk lamp that i found on aliexpress.. you can buy them using my affiliate links here..
IKEA FORSA |
FYI.. there will be soldering involve since you need to connect the wire to the LED strip.. i used a black wire with a switch that i can run the wires inside of the desk lamp arm and through the model too.. i used the black wire to get the same color scheme.. you can get the black wires here on my aliexpress affiliate link..
The infiltrator is printed in 2 parts.. so you'll need to insert a 6mm aluminium/steel tube through the ship so the 2 pieces would align.. the tube also works as the holder for the arm to grip..
i also added a channel to add led lights to the cockpit.. although you can only use it if you paint the ship.. you'll mask the cockpit when painting them..
I hope you'll have fun 3d printing the sith infiltrator desk lamp
