I have some chairs with broken plastic seats that I don't want to throw away, and this project resurrected my plans to fix them

the chairs have a metal frame, with a hollow, two-piece injection molded seat that eventually breaks at the seams. I would most prefer to print a whole replacement seat in one piece, but can't afford a big enough printer I was originally thinking of designing it in 9 pieces, and using allthread to keep the plastic in compression, but that's too expensive, so I had given up. with the work NIMI did, I should be able to do it, and if I'm clever it should be strong enough to last well.
