These little wiggly buddies are super fun to fidget! Designed to print in place with no supports

Filaments used:

Bambu Labs: Matte Grass Green

Bambu Labs: Matte Lemon Yellow

Bambu Labs: Matte Charcoal

Bambu Labs: Matte Ivory White

Notes:

The caterpillar models are separated by object so you can delete the pupil if you want solid colored eyes or to remove the spots

Pictured caterpillars are scaled at 100% & 70%, you could scale them down more for an army of tiny buggies

This was a fun print for the kiddos. The only thing that I don’t understand is the limited time download in the title. You should keep it on MakerWorld.

psychology trick. it make a "rush" to catch it if you know it's a "limited (time, discount, whatever)". like writing "few pieces left" on a sale... even if it's not real, even if you probably don't need it, you will rush to grab it. psychology trick, that's all.

I didn't plan on posting it on MW but I wanted it to be a free file for a short period of time before it moves to a paid platform exclusively. Which I have done with several models in the past BUT I just read in the terms you aren't allowed to do limited time models so... they will stay ( :

Once shared "for free sample" i don't think it will be private anymore 😅 i mean... It's online now. It's a good thing for your patreon, if you keep it as it's now, so the "later" users will maybe find your patreon linked to this one and sub for other models (just my "2cents" opinion, of course)

very cool and fun print. The Original full size file worked well. for the main filament I used BL PLA gradient Ocean to Meadow. thanks for sharing these.

Flexi Caterpillar - Pre-Colored

I made the full-sized pre-colored one at 75%. I used whatever matte PLA I had around, with matte PLA+ for the eyes, and printed a perfect bit of squiggly cuteness to hand off when visiting a child. Easy peasy. Thank you!
