Description

dragon skeleton

If you like my snake skeleton then you will love this.

Printed on 2 plates, the head and wings print separately, joining the main body by a ball and socket joint.

while the 3mf is multi colour you can of course print as a single colour to speed things up.

ensure good bed adhesions before printing.

please do not mark the model down for poor bed adhesion, it is your responsibility to ensure you plate is clean. and if in doubt use a brim or glue.

some of the back parts of the body are small so good bed adhesion is essential. avoid fails with a brim or glue.

ball and socket joints arn't great with silk so i would avoid using silk filament.

i've printed in bone pla+ from sunlu with silver.

very cool model however i did notice it is weak when put against open flames, if you could make a model that didnt melt when put up to a lighter that would be amazing

well i figured its a dragon so OBVIOUSLY it should be flame proof so i doused it in butane and gasoline and lit him up to see a really awsome dragon but all i got was a glob of petg, very dissapointing and couldbe been easily prevented in the slicer if the maker could change this i would be really appreciative

😂😆 why on earth would you do that.. of course its going to melt regardless of what you print it in. The maker creates the model.. you decide what you material you print it in.. absolutely mental 🤦‍♂️

underneath a few ribs it was stringy. I need to verify my settings and filament. The Head and separate claws printed nicely

Printed in a single color on A1. It came out looking nice. As the poster stated, adhesion is key when it comes to those ribs. 3 of mine came loose but was still able to finish the print with no other issues. Well done
