Description

A circular offset block lamp shade using the Bambu Lamp Kit 001 Base and Puck Led lamp.

 

A new 1.4 mm Shade is available which has thinner walls and a looser Bambu Kit001 connection as well as 2 different puck bases and a Tea lamp base. The 1.4 mm thick walls allow more light and create a warmer glow.

Recommend the 1.4 vs the Thicker and will probably remove the thicker wall version soon.

 

 

No supports required.

 

 

The shade itself was printed using Sunlu Meta Cream White

 

The slicer settings:


.20 mm Standard
Infill % - 15 , Gyroid
Wall Loops - 3

the lamp is too wide to use the lamp kit 001, filament and time waisted!

Did you try the base included in the STLs or do you find the shade too thick to give off enough light?

Added a new print profile with 1.4 mm thick walls and a wider connector to allow easier installation. Also added 2 different Kit001 connectors and a Tea lamp connector. I recommend printing the new model, but if you want me to upload an easier to attach kit001 connector, let me know and I will make one for you.. cheers

I made this in Black (was curious) and safe to say it did not work haha. the design is really nice and printed super fast. But the inner wall seems thick.

Thanks for the comment. The blocks actually print at 3 different thicknesses, which helps with the different effects and creating the look and partially responsible for the total thickness. It is probably possible to thin them a bit, but I am out of town and will look at it when I get back if you desire .. cheers ..

I think the later is too thick, resulting in a rather dim lamp.
