Was I supposed to enable "spiral vase" mode prior to slicing? I am not experienced with light shades. I thought this was already embedded in the print profile. I ended up printing a solid body filled with interface all the way to the top from the bottom although no support was enabled. It took more than 5 hours and weighs 321 g (113 oz). I don't know how any light will pass through... Is the inner lamp shade an optional addition? I apparently did not need that as I had nowhere for it to go. Is it possible to put these details in your description for inexperienced printers please? When I looked back, I enabled the "spiral vase" mode and that seemed to have sliced with a hollow interior and reduced the main body printing time to 1+ hour.

Hello. The print profile has spiral vase enabled alongside other settings. All you need to do is to slice and print. before every print you should check the result in the slicer to prevent misprints. I am not sure what happened in your case. Did you try to print multiple objects on the same plate? The print profiles are different for the 3 pieces of the lamp. I print the LOTUS from my Bambu Handy app with no problems whatsoever. Even with PETG. Did you manage to print it?

I will reprint once I get back to it. I was trying to hash what went wrong in order not to do such a silly act again. 1) I sliced it myself (spiral vase mode and support were not enabled) 2) As far as I know, there was only one object and the slicer never gave me a warning that two objects were crashing on top 3) I looked at the preview of the slicer, but since I never printed a lampshade or vase before, I wasn't sure if it was suppose to look like that or not. 4) During the print I saw the printer created a grid inside all the way through and I wondered if there was going to be a way to remove that to achieve the final shape (wishful/crazy thinking). 5) The base fits well. Maybe it will let some light pass through as an art piece to be displayed instead of a lamp and the top solid area could serve as a surface to display something.

It's so beautiful. And I love it. May I ask you a favor? Can I change the size of the lampshade from P1S to the maximum output size? I can zoom in and expand the size, but the lamp base hole is also turned on, so I don't think I can use it even if I zoom in.

Hy. I'm glad you like the lamp. You would like to keep the base of the lamp the same size and enlarge the shade so it fits the max size of the P1S ?
