Description

Simple A1mini Cable Chain for Heatbed. (A1mini ready, ≈ 40g)

Only 16 chain links and 15 lids are required, but I added 18 of both as they do not require much filament. Sometimes, little adhesion problems will ruin the look and functionality of a chain link or lid.

Removing supports of the bed anchor can be quite tricky and will require some form of tweezers!

Installation:

First install the base and bed anchor, which should fit perfectly (don't worry too much about the cables, as they will fit into place “automatically”).
Attach 16 links to each other and both anchors. (The open side should face “inside”. See my pictures). The links could also be attached one by one with alternating “openings”, I just did not like the look of it. Try it out and decide for yourself.
Push the bed back as far as possible for easy installation of the lids. Because of their size they are quite fragile so be careful while installing or disassembly.
