After top mounting my AMS lite on my a1 I found no space for the external filament spool, so i designed this simple wall mount in tinkercad.
When mounting be sure to put in a location where your ptfe tube can reach all corners of the bed without hanging up on anything, I had to thread mine right above gantry and below top brace. Also make sure its clear of the bed Y axis movement.
This was a quick project so I could print TPU so its not fine tuned but works pretty well. I recommend using all 5 screws and drywall anchors if needed.
My settings: Arachne walls, .28 layers, 3 walls, 50% adaptive cubic with infill combination(checked), top and bottom shell layers =4, top and bottom surface patterns = monotonic line
Support: Tree(auto) > Tree Hybrid > Thresh Ang = 40 > Remove small overhangs(checked)
may be a bit rough on upper arm where support contacts but I printed this orientation for added strength. of course you could orient it differently if youd like and save time, but id rather not risk a spool falling mid print.
