Description

I saw a slightly different version of this popular game on TikTok and decided to make it.

The pieces reminded me of the Pac-Man ghost, which we recently made in the Fusion course with Professor NormakeR , and it gives a very fun touch.

I think it has turned out to be a very eye-catching game and more addictive than the typical tic-tac-toe.

The print is very simple and without supports.

I designed a little box for transport, which is joined with a piece of filament at the hinge and with heat at the ends so it doesn't come out.

For a better closure, you can use two 3 x 6 mm magnets. The design is prepared for it, but it is optional.

The game has many names depending on the part of the world we are in. On the lid of the game, I put "TA TE TI" as a tribute to my wife and her country. However, I have left a blank version so that everyone can easily put whatever they want using BambuStudio.

Game rules (they are really very simple):

  • Two players, each chooses a color of pieces.
  • The board is formed by the four sticks joined together, forming 9 squares.
  • Alternately, each player places a piece of the size they consider (according to their strategy).
  • They can place it in any square they want.
  • Large pieces can be placed on top of any smaller one, it doesn't have to be the same color.
  • The first to make a line of 3 wins.

Enjoy!

The .STL file on offer doesn't have a recess in the top container for the tabs on the bottom container. You'll either need to cut off the tabs and use magnets (which you'll need to make as well as the tabs are un-indented), or modify the .STL file yourself to add a recess for the tabs. Otherwise a flawless print so far. Hoping the planks and units turn out great!

Thank you very much for reporting the error. Already solved! During the design process I eliminated the initial tabs, the magnet was enough. But I uploaded an old version of the base. I hope you enjoy the game. Thank you.

Replying to @WarriorSoto :
I will, thanks! I would try the new model out, but I've already printed the three cases. The pieces also have a hard time printing (so far) without rims, so I recommend printing them with a few or the print will fail on figurines! Can't wait to put it together! Definitely adding a picture when it's done on the original comment.
