Description

I needed a storage solution for my filaments that took no space in my small studio, so I designed this filament holders that you can screw to the bottom of your top shelf or in a low ceiling.
You can make it as long as you want! Just consider adding “Middle Hangers” (stl) every 50cm (20inches) or so.
Uses 19mm (0.75inch) diameter rods to hold the filaments (you can use metal or wood, but I believe metal flexes less)

I was searching for something that I could screw to my joists in the basement above my bench to free up room below. This came out great. after about 4 layers printed I printed the rest at "Ludicrous" speed, and it printed just fine, and cut the print time way down. I got the 6' metal closet poles at Home Depot for like $19/ea. Glad I printed the supports as it can get heavy with all the filament. Im able to store about 24 rolls in 6'. I may add some hangers to hang some extra spools I still have floating around.
