Turned out nice. One of the crystals on the back fell off from a light touch. I glued it back on. Hopefully it will hold, but I’m expecting my kids will break off more. I’m new to 3d printing; I don’t know why it fell off. Maybe it was fragile because the body is PLA and the crystals are PETG?

What? You mixed PLA and PETG? I mean it looks amazing and I really love it, but these two materials do not stick together! Maybe try to get your hands on white matte PETG, so you can print the body in PETG as well! I hope I could help! 😊

I read that you can mix them, but some people reported having this same problem where it snaps where the different filaments merge. I like your idea of trying all PETG.

yes all PLA… metallic gold and silver, white and sparkle red all from Bambu. I did an astrolabe in the silver and it’s a really nice filament

My niece picked out the color scheme and it looks great! Printed with PLA but the crystals were PETG (translucent purple).

Nice design. Five star! If we can better optimize the color to reduce the waste, that will be awesome.

Love it! I printed main silk white with silk teal and silk blue for the spikes and "burnt titanium" for the eyes which looks black but gives a blue sparkle. I changed the layer to 0.12, 3 walls and ignored the "floating regions" warning that popped up. I recommend printing multiple as printing 1 would have purged more than printed. I did 5 on 1 plate easy, could have done more.
