This is a Fluval Breeder box attachment for catching eggs from egg scattering fish. I am using it to breed CPDs and danios in a 10 gallon tank. The egg catcher sits on the bottom of the tank and effortless collects all the eggs, to get the danios to spawn on the egg catcher I added a clump of java moss on top of the grate. It has been supper fun watching them grow up.

How to use

Print both the Funnel and the grate for the breeder box

Then you will need to Glue a 90 degree airline connector into the hole at the base of the egg catcher. Any 90 degree airline connector should work but I used a modified pawfly air connector as it was what I had on hand. After Glueing on the airline connector with superglue the egg catcher is ready to use. If you want to improve the waterflow of the connector there is a grove on the up-spout of the egg collector that you can add an O-ring to make a better seal. this is the same O-ring that is used on the Fluval Breeding box. I happened to find it in a O-ring kit labeled R-04
