Neat cabling gives a project a clean finish and helps you trace and debug wiring problems more easily. So I needed a way to secure wiring of varying thickness to adjacent smooth panels.
I designed this cable tie point to hold wiring in place. They're simple and easy to print. The clip base is 30x20mm. It has two 3.5mm screw mounting holes. I also use these tine points with double sided tape. On the tie point there's an elevated bracket with a 4mm hole. I use cable twists and cable ties to secure wire of all thicknesses to a tie point.
My print is made in Bambu Lab PLA Tough Gray filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 15% infill on a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon printer. No print supports required.
I hope that you can find this print useful, too.
Remember to leave me some feedback or even a tip to keep me enthused to make more of these drawings.
