Description

A fridge magnet / Christmas tree ornament design based on Mjolnir, Thors hammer from the marvel avengers movies.

It needs 2 magnets 8mm diameter by 4mm deep, the print needs to be paused to insert these inside the model for the fridge magnet.

For the Christmas tree ornament it just needs some cotten tying through the handle.

Of course you can always do both and use it as a fridge magnet when it's not Christmas.

The model is split into objects to allow easy selection of colours in Bambu Studio, if you want a much faster print but with less detail choose the same colour for the handle as the trim, this will result in a solid brown (or whatever colour you choose) handle without the silver bands.

Great looking print. I don't have any brown filament, so will paint the handle later.

absolutely love this!!! Only thing I don’t like is the holes for the magnets on top are covered up. I had to poke through and it doesn’t look clean. it would be better if without that layer and printed with supports cause those would pop right out.

Hi, Thanks for the comment, the idea is to pause the print and insert the magnets inside rather than add them afterwards

Werden die Magnete eingeklebt oder einfach nur reingelegt? nicht dass die beim überdrucken rausgezogen werden? Drucker ist der X1 Carbon. Viele Grüße

Die Magnete werden einfach ohne Klebstoff eingesetzt. Mir sind sie beim Drucken noch nie herausgefallen und auch sonst hat niemand davon berichtet. Sie können aber auch Klebstoff verwenden, wenn Sie möchten. Ich hoffe, das ergibt Sinn, da ich Google Translate verwendet habe.
