Fallout 4 Mini Nuke - EASY PRINT with just two 2 color swaps and virtually no supports! I found most of the other models that were multi-color prints had a ridiculous amount of color swaps, supports and consequentially print times. I found a couple of different nukes and remixed them together, with my own edits, to make something that prints much easier and has far less color swaps.
I've remixed the Fallout 4 Mini Nuke and reduced the color changes from hundreds to just 2. One in the nose cap and one in the fins.
I've also edited the yellow cap collar to increase the available space inside.
The pieces are also separated for ease of printing and virtually no supports needed.
Screws
One of the byproducts of reducing the color swaps is that the screws have to printed separately and glued into the holes. Slightly tedious but easy once you get the hang of it. Easiest to dab a bit of super glue around the inside edges of the hole and then push the screw in. No mess, no leakage and nothing on your fingers! Hey, it's better than 1K+ color swaps!
Nose cone
For a nice smooth cone, use Variable Layer Heights (Adaptive layer height) to smooth out around the top. I've already done it in the profile but I'm unsure if that it is copied when it gets uploaded. Either that or just print the whole thing in 0.08 and be patient, it's worth it in the end. :)
Scarf Seams
I've turned on scarf seams globally. It's up to you if you want to disable it. Slice it both ways and see which one you prefer.
Any questions, just ask! I hope you Fallout fans will enjoy having their own Mini Nuke now.
