Description

Paddle holder/clamp/clip for use with stand up paddle boards or kayaks. Clips to either the D-rings or bungee cords. Clip paddles out of the way for carrying, SUP yoga, fishing, etc. Fits standard 29mm paddle shafts.

I tested these by putting them on and off the D-rings 100 times each then clipping the paddle in 100 times, then broke them intentionally to determine the most durable infill %.

PETG was most durable at 50% gyroid infill, 3 top and bottom layers and 2 walls.

PLA was most durable at 100% solid.

I prefer the PETG due to it having more flex than the PLA. Based on my tests, I think it would last longer in actual use. I haven't put that theory to a real world test yet, but the season is young.

I tested them on both Carbon Fiber and Aluminum paddles. They left no scratches after 100+ tests each, but YMMV, use at own risk.

I would recommend removing them when storing inflatable boards just in case to prevent any damage to either the clips or the board.

The red clips pictured are the final model. The blue clips pictured on the SUP had tighter teeth but failed the break test spectacularly. The clamp part remains the same however. You've also got a bonus pic of my broken, post-test pieces. The red one with a 50 on it was the best performer, bending where the others cracked. It had no signs of wear before I broke it.

Happy Paddling!

My brother tested the new profiles I added on his mini, since I don't have one, just in case. They both turned out well. I had expected they should since these same setting worked on the A1, but it's nice to be sure :)
