little bit of work required for post processing but it’s amazing and worth it. extra thanks to whoever made this specific print profile because the one by the designer uses twice as much filament somehow so this one is appreciated

my A1 mini only printed half the ball? it was a clean cutoff so I don’t think the filament jammed. I printed in PLA Matte could that be the issue

It worked for other people, idk what the problem could be... type of filament shouldn't matter either

does this require supports? I tried one and the supports basically made it solid.

For me the supports came off without any real issues but I did need to use plyers for the harder parts.

Hi @matincat , I am yet to print your profile, but if I want the top smoother and enable variable layer height the slicer fills the inside of the model with a lot of support. If I use a static 0.20 layer height than the support stays only at the bottom. Am I missing something here?

you have to use normal supports and not tree supports

Thanks, that did it. I will post pictures after the print completes.

I haven't tried variable layer height (or normal supports) so I do not know the answer, but it seems macjfll solved it for you. I don't know if the different layer heights will work or not, but it should.

This thing did print out great and did take quite a bit of filament to print, but always impresses my friends whenever they come over, and as always something, everybody loves to fidget with my only gripe about it is how easily the tips break off

Came out almost perfect. Supports were a little difficult to remove, but not too bad.

Not good. print was fused together and didn’t stretch. Took 17 hours to print and another hour to take off the supports. Also used a TON of fiiment. Super 🙁.
