Intro:

This is just another attempt at creating the perfect cable organiser. This print's main features are:

  • cable wraps around on the exterior, which will stress the cable less and maximize it's life.
  • consists of 2 cylinder parts that snap together with an internal ratchet mechanism to adjust for cable length by twisting.
  • The ratchet mechanism only twists in one direction, to keep the cable tension around the cylinders.
  • has 2 holes to insert both USB-C heads to keep the cable tightened.

Assembly:

  • Really easy, just snap the male into the female component carefully.

How to print:

  • I recommend not using translucent or silk PLA for the ratchet mechanism, the grind can create an uncomfortable sound as I discovered.
  • Use normal or matte PLA
  • Have fun and add some nice color details to the print !

Usage:

  1. Insert one of the USB-C heads on to the holes in one side.
  2. Wrap around until you reach the end of the cable on the second cylinder.
  3. Twist (in one direction only) the second cylinder until it matches the cable end.
  4. Insert second UCB-C head on the second hole
