Customizable Ant Bait Holder

This ant bait holder is designed to fit Terro ant bait containers perfectly in its default configuration. It's highly customizable, allowing you to adjust multiple parameters such as basin depth, which can increase the amount of liquid the holder can contain. You can also modify the overall length, width, and hole diameter to suit your needs. Designed for ease of printing and placement, this holder is ideal for combating ants, which can be found everywhere.

Printing tips:

• Printing the lid is optional but can be useful in certain situations.
• If loading stl with both container and lid into Bambu Slicer, click 'Split to Parts' then ‘Arrange All Objects’ before slicing.

Both Terro and DIY Borax ant baits use Borax, a natural material, to eliminate ants by being consumed and carried back to the colony. DIY Borax ant bait is an inexpensive alternative to Terro.

Note on Borax: While Borax has low toxicity for humans and animals, dosage matters. A large amount could be harmful if ingested by pets. Always only make what you need and use small quantities making the receipe below.

Simple Borax Ant Bait Recipe:

In a small cup, combine the following ingredients:

• 5 parts sugar
• 1 part Borax
• Stir in water until achieving a syrupy consistency, similar to vegetable oil

To ensure the entire colony is destroyed, keep refilling the container until you no longer see any ants. It may take 24-48 hours to kill a colony, and the ant bait holders may need to be refilled numerous times.
