Description

Keep your Reolink RLC-833A (or similar) Security Camera* cables tidy and secure your network! Go from this… to this!

Features 2 ways for your cables to enter. If mounting your camera directly over your cable's mounting point, use hole A. If mounting your camera away from the cable exit point, re-terminate your ethernet after passing it through hole B. The design also features a zip tie passthrough for strain relief.

Notes:

  • Note that the housing is not meant to be totally waterproof. It's designed so that if mounted to a vertical wall, rainwater should escape the housing via gravity, but you should still use the waterproofing mechanisms built into the ends of the camera cables!

Materials

  • ASA or ABS suggested (for outdoor applications) - I printed mine from Polymaker White ASA*
  • 4x M4 threaded inserts* - if not using these exact inserts, verify dimensions are the same
  • 4x M4 x ~8mm screws* - stainless steel suggested (for outdoor applications)
  • Soldering iron for heat staking (I use these tips* but they are not required)
  • (Optional) zip ties

Assembly

  1. Print the part with the included profile
  2. Heat stake the 4x M4 threaded inserts* into the part as shown
  3. Use the template, mounting hardware, and instructions included with the camera to mount the 3D-printed part in the camera location.
  4. Terminate the ethernet connection as needed inside the part. secure it as needed with a zip tie
  5. Slip the camera cables through the hole in the included mount plate, and connect them to the cables inside the printed part
  6. Manage your cables nicely, again you may choose to use zip ties
  7. Install the plate to the printed part and secure it with the M4 x ~8mm screws*
  8. Install the camera to the plate
