Under some circumstances we do not want to drill holes or using glue stripes to mount the Philips Hue Dimmer (higher husband/wife acceptance factor), so I designed this wall mounting plate which use the existing light switch brackets to mount the dimmer.

This is the first version that I made for my home, so I just took my light switch into account, which is one from Busch-Jaeger with a standardized size of 151x80mm. I will try to make more models with different common sizes, and eventually parameterized one.

The mounting plate should be printed on a calibrated printer with whatever material you like, since the size is quite accurate to make it a snug fit. If printer properly, the plate will be hold firmly by the light switch cover. Here is the installation video:
