INSTALLATION

Step 1: Install the clip onto the tray (it is recommended to insert it on the left or right side of the clip for easier access)

Step 2: Insert the filament into the clip

Note: it is not recommended to first place the filament into the clip and then insert it into the tray, as the filament may jump out of the slot and cause installation failure. The following figure is an example of an error:

UNINSTALLATION:

Suggest pinching and pulling upwards to make it easier. If you pinch it in the middle and pull it out, it requires a considerable amount of force. As shown in the following figure:

stl file doesn't include label, 3mf file include label PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PC, PA6 already.

COMPATIBILITY:
 

This buckle is designed for the material tray of Bambu. The outer ring thickness of Bambu's material tray is 3.54 millimeters, and the thickness becomes about 2.87 millimeters within 8.5 millimeters from the outer ring, so it may not be suitable for other brands of material trays.

If you want to try using other trays, you can refer to the following parameters:

• The thickest part of the buckle gap is 3.5mm, and the thinnest part is 3.16mm
• Tray diameter 200mm

TIPS:

• Recommend print it with Bambu PLA Basic filament because the tolerance is based on it;
• Clip design is based on Bambu transparent version spool, it will has little bit bigger tolerance with it is used on opaque Bambu spool;
• If you have heat gun, it is easy to adjust finished clip tolerance;
• Don't change the fonts when you edit the label, it will change the tolerance slightly.
