Description

seen the other spacer but when downloading all it would load of the space was gcode an if i tried to do anything to the model it changed to a stapler holder so i made my own in tinkercad by importing one of the original inserts an adding a 5mm and 10mm spacer to the back an i decided to make a version with countersunk hole, that way u can mount them through the spacers. i felt like that would be the best option vs mounting it using the shorter inserts that could cause flex if pulled to tight so this should prevent that, if i need to add it to the other inserts, i can just let me know, i may end up doing it myself so i can do it to mine. i'm still not 100% how big i'm going to go yet so i may end up making them for all the countersunk parts.

I have 3 more questions, at first, what printer did you use, and do you have a picture of it mounted to the wall? and why did you print it with a brim? because Bambu printers don’t need a brim

printed on p1s with ams, been printing a bunch of large flat parts an brim was turned on for those an i forgot to turn them off, but i got 14 printers but have only printed them on the p1s so far, an i haven't hung them yet, im working on a shop an im just getting all the parts printed while i work on getting it ready but hopefully with the week i'll be able to start hanging stuff. i have a bunch of the panels hung in my room but they are flat on the wall an ive not tried any kinda of spacer but im going to be mixing the hex panels with multiboard an peg board and the peg board is spaced away from the wall so i was going to attempt to get the hex an multiboard spaced around the same.

haha yea they come in useful. the little shop I’m working on is half for my printers an the other half I’m putting a milling machine, lathe, cnc router an other stuff like that so I’m hoping ill have a bit more space to work once I get it done.

lets get together so you can help me, im about to start fusion 360 online course to learn how to build or modify models I need. I need the spacer option with hole but I need to measure it 1st, I'll have an idea by this weekend if you have time next week or so to modify your files for me.

i was able to learn how to use tinkercad, which limited but good enough. now i need to make the same 29.5mm (height including spacer), but in a 2, 3, 4 connector w/ one hole being 6mm width
