Description

Poop Shoot Cover

ENGLISH

03.06.2024 - Due to user reports that use an X-Series printer - we only recommend the cover for the P-Series for the time being until the problem in the design has been resolved

11.06.2024 - We changed some Geometric Data to the Modell "PoopShootCover_V2" this should now work for the X-Users

Our Poop Shoot Cover for 3D printers is a fantastic addition for anyone looking to keep their printer space clean and efficient.

It's incredibly easy to print, so even beginners won't have any trouble with it.

Ideally, it should be made from PETG (though ABS or other materials will also work), making it not only stable but also durable and heat-resistant – perfect for demanding printing environments.

Installation is a breeze, and thanks to its clever design, the Poop Shoot Cover won't interfere with your printer's movements.

Whether you're loading or unloading filament or your printhead is moving, the Poop Shoot Cover stays discreetly in place.

One particularly handy feature is the small holding tab at the front edge, which efficiently scrapes off any residual filament.

This keeps your print nozzle clean and ensures consistent print quality.

The holding tab is also designed to easily glide over different nozzle diameters – from Ø 0.2 to 0.8 mm of the Bambulab Standard Nozzle.

We look forward to hearing your opinions and experiences with our PurgeShotcover.

Your feedback is important to us and helps us tailor our products even better to your needs.

Have a great day and enjoy printing!

DEUTSCH

Thank You for your reply so far. May I also ask whether this plop took place at the start of printing or during unloading? I'll have to check the G-code paths at print start and filament change to see where the error could lie. for this an update has been added to the description text for the file. To avoid possible damage to your print head please take patience and watch out for the updates.

thanks for your reply. i'm still looking into a few options for version 2 that will minimise the pinning. are you using the X1 or P1 printer? and which firmware?

I was tired of poop slinging all over the place and decided to try a cover for my chute for my multicolor prints. Printed in PLA as a test and will re-print with PETG. This does a much better job keeping the poops where they should be and has so far forced them all to exit the chute correctly instead of ending up on the print bed. Check that it is clean after each print. Works great on the P1S, will update if I encounter any issues. Thanks so much!

A very good work. If it were a little bigger, it would be perfect. It's easy to move back and forth when you put it in now.

Thank you for your feedback The dimensions for the perfect fit are, among other things, heavily dependent on how the PoopShoot channel was manufactured by Bambulab, deviations can occur here that we cannot all limit. Therefore the model was kept smaller in advance in order to get a good fit for everyone. You can also use the slicer function in BambuStudio to increase the size of the PoopShootCover. You can either use the scaling option or the new measuring tool to add the desired dimensions or increase the outer contour reinforcement by 0.1-0.2 mm. There are many ways to achieve your desired taut result :) Greeting 2B.MainPrints

Hey! This may sound incredibly stupid, but what is this for exactly? Does it resolve the problem, that sometimes filament "poops" land on the print plate?

Hello :) There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers <3 But of course you will get the answer -> In short : YES :) Due to its shape, the nose ensures that the filament poop is not pulled into the build chamber. It can happen that some filament gets stuck on the nose if not enough has been popped, but at least the filament no longer leaves the PoopShoot container ^^ I hope I have been able to answer your question.
