Description

The closed housing of the X1C or P1S is suitable for printing many filaments. However, this concept is less suitable for PLA. The filament path can quickly overheat and the print head can become clogged.

Opening the closed housing can avoid this problem as it reduces the temperature in the print chamber.

This is where my Top Glass Riser comes into play:

The two parts are simply attached to the housing and lift the cover glass. There are 2 levels available with different sized openings.

I saw this nice design by @lobocnc a few weeks ago and used it here for a while. However, the opening angle was too large for my needs and I also wanted a certain degree of variability. That's why I created my own design.

Works great, but the gap is probably too small for the edge to slide into it and make it even more stable? Otherwise a very good, stable and recommendable print. Was printed with PETG.
