Description

(A1 MINI VERSION IN MY OTHER MODELS)

During this upgrade, some parts of your printer may be damaged, I am not responsible for any damage caused by incorrect installation or other damage. If your cables appears too short for this mod you should not install it.

Another version of camera relocator, this time you can adjust the angle of the camera!

INSTRUCTION:

Print all 3 models as they are in print profile, camera holder should be printed with supports

DURING NEXT OPERATIONS THE PRINTER SHOULD BE TURNED OFF!

Remove original faceplace and camera according to BambuLab instruction

Push camera into it's new holder, it's supposed to be pretty tight so vibrations won't make any noise

Put new faceplate on the X-axis with the cable going through a hole and carefully bend the connector 90 degrees, it'll be easier to connect it.

Push the cable through camera holder hole and connect it.

Push in the camera facing down and rotate it so it locks

Put the back cover and adjust the angle

Any chance you can model a cover for the void left by the camera? Wouldn't want dust and debris entering the pulley. Also would be great if there was a bambu logo/branding option on that faceplate or the holder for aesthetic purposes. But overall great job!

Perfect ! correct certainly the most anoying thing on this printer. As requested by many, could you make a cover for the space left by the camera ?

Thank you for commenting. Another creator made this model that fills the space after the camera https://makerworld.com/en/models/478855#profileId-392193

Successfully printed, the field of view is way more interesting now! I think you could enlarge the two teeth of the cylindrical portion which engage in the plate cover. All efforts are only withstood by those two miniature bumps. You could draw something like 45°

I give boost to you, because you deserve it. If you make a cover of the original camera position, I'll give you a second boost. Thanks a lot.

works well, swivel tabs feel a bit flimsy but they hold so no issue.

Its like visiting your upper neighbor. You see kind of the same but a much better view. Great instructions and very easy to install if you follow them. Thank you

it printed really good, the support messed up one of the tabs but I still got it to work, it’s rotates and stays in place, but I think there might be a better way to do the rotating part, like extending the tube out more so it gets locked into the cover but overall good job.
