Description

This is for fresh water flyrod cases up to 70mm, round or hex. PLA is plenty strong enough for this.

Assembly is easy. You will have 2 covers for the lock on the top bracket. Glue one side and let dry. Flip the bracket over, add the locking rod and then carefully glue the other cover on. The locking rod should move freely.

Screw the bottom bracket into the wall with the ‘fingers’ facing up. Place the rod case into the bottom bracket. I use painters tape on the wall & mark the top of the rod case onto the tape. You want the underside of the top bracket about 10mm above the top of the case. This will let you easily put the case into the holder and the lock rod will fall back down to hold the case. You can lift the locking rod to pull the case back out.

There is a small recess in the bottom bracket. I added this for my Tenkara rods. I did it just so they looked a little better in the holder.
