UPDATE:

New Version with holes integrated into the casing - no need for external case

better clearance for extruder

This is a remix of the A1 AMS Lite drying box solution. I really liked the solution of having a drying box for the AMS lite. But I dont want to install it on top of the box. This is another solution for it. It requires a lot of ptfe tube.

Dismanling AMS lite is required. Unscrew few screws and lightly pry it open. The screws from the AMS lite are required for mounting it on the frame.

Also I made a drybox for the filaments.

does this have any issues with the length of ptfe tubes going to it from hot box or from it to the print head ? thanks

Have been using it for over 500 hours with this box. impotant note is not the bend the tube to avoid frivtion

Its not that - I printed a conversion to mix the AMS and Sunlu s4 - it was ok, but I was having problems because the tubes were longer than the stock ones, for some reason it kept purging for no apparent reason. cut the tubes shorter and it was fine. hence my question as this setup seems a lot better than my current one.

good model. the screws on the "AMS Filament Holder Rod / AMS Feeder" are a little out (1mm or less), but with a little force, it is possible to leave them in the correct position.
