Description

Modular parts storage system. The design is based on the standard storage you see in most garages. I've made the small bin 25mm and the tall one 50mm. I'm planning on adding to this with a short and tall wide drawer. The drawer handle is the perfect size for labels from a label maker.

The drawer bodies go together with “links” (little interlocking pieces printed seperate). They're super sturdy and don't come apart easily.

The best way to pust them together is to add links ot one shell and then press the new shell onto it while on its back. This will make it so the link doesn't push out.

The links are a pretty tight fit so just take it slow and easy when pushing them together. You can sand them down and superglue together if you want a more permanent fit.

I used your print settings to print with PETG, and when it came time to assemble the pieces, I found it difficult to insert the connector into the box. Is there a solution to this problem?

Update: I added a smaller connector if you need it -- see print profiles. The connector is a pretty tight fit, otherwise it wouldn't bring the box together tightly. I'd recommend pressing the connector into the box by pressing it down onto a table. If that doesn't work, you can sand a very fine layer off the "V" on the connector. Let me know if that doesn't work and if so I can release a slightly smaller connector.

I just added in a new print profile with a smaller connector. YMMV but you might need a dab of glue as it's not as tight of a fit.
