A harbor freight workbench has recently become home to my printers, and with that, a bottom shelf to hold loads of filament.

This model works in conjunction with Wiz3D's model to add height to the back layer of filament, for those of us with limited space to store. Length of the filament holder is customizable based upon the length of the dowel you purchase and/or cut. I'm currently using 48" ½ inch wooden dowels from Home Depot, and a third Filament Rack Support in the center to lessen the likelihood of sagging. With this set-up, I can fit roughly 36 rolls of vacuum sealed filament between the two layers.

Requires the use of ½ INCH DOWELS/RODS

Printer Settings:

• Infill: 20% (You can probably use less, but I haven't tested it)
• Infill Type: Grid
• Supports: No
• Orientation: Lay it with the holes on either side facing down towards your build plate for optimal strength (see photo)
